- In-line with the recent Government’s Movement Control Order (MCO), the Visitor Policy for inpatient will be revised with effect from 6/5/2021 as follows:
- NO visitor will be allowed.
- Only ONE carer per paediatric patient or ill patient will be allowed to stay in. The carer will be required to have a negative COVID-19 test result prior to staying in.
- The carer MUST wear a mask at all times

We strive to make your hospital stay as comfortable as possible. Here are some general information pertaining to your hospital stay:

All patients’ rooms are equipped with a telephone to receive incoming calls. All outgoing calls are chargeable. (Local calls: press “9” followed by the required numbers. Outstation calls: press “0” to go through our operators.)
- Meals
Meals are complimentary for in-patients only. Food are supplied according to patient’s age and condition. Mealtimes are :
- Breakfast : 8.00am – 9.00am
- Lunch : 12.00pm – 1.00pm
- Afternoon tea : 3.00pm – 3.30pm
- Dinner : 6.00pm – 7.00pm
Please use your own cutleries for non-halal food. A hot water flask is provided.

Own electrical items are strictly not allowed in the hospital.

In the interest of safety, we request that you do not bring any valuables into the hospital. Lourdes Medical Centre does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal properties

Visiting hours
Visitors are required to observe and adhere to the following hours whenever possible. Our visiting hours are from 9.00am – 9.00pm. We are aware that the patients need the support of family and friends in their road to recovery. However, we do not encourage visitors to bring small children along. If children do visit, we need your kind cooperation to ensure that they are in their best behavior.
Intensive Care Unit & High Dependency Unit
Visiting hours at ICU and HDU will be controlled by the ward staff to ensure critically ill patients are not disturbed. Visitor will be restricted to immediate family members and only two at any one time.
